Awesome lounge with actual food for a full meal and great alcohol! Much better than all the domestic lounges. Great place to relax and unwind before departure.
This is easily the best lounge at IAD. LUF lounges never disappoint. The food and drink quality were fantastic. I can't stress how good the food was. I'm always impressed w/ Lufthansa quality.
Worth the trek if you're hungry, good snack selection. Much nicer than United, but small and only one shower.
Very well kept and modern looking lounge. Only a few years old. Good amenities but can get crowded in the late afternoon.
This lounge offers better amenities than the United Club does, and is quieter because people can't "buy-in". If your flight is departing from C or D, then remember to leave early to get to your gate!
For United flyers, this is the best lounge at IAD. I would recommend it.
Besides not having a business center, this lounge is great. It offer awesome showers, nice snacks, and a variety of seating areas.
It was nice and in theory the food was decent, but there were flies all over the place. If you judge a club by food/alcohol alone, an A+; but if cleanliness is important, then a C+.
It's below the Senator Lufthansa lounge, so it isn't as bright (natural lighting), and there aren't as many plugs. The service is the same as upstairs (where I stayed the remainder of today's visit).
Gym like basement with uninspired food and uncomfortable seating. Toilets were broken - better facilities in the main airport terminal.
Modern lounge, but very crowded. Often impossible to find a seat. It's usually more comfortable waiting by the boarding gate.
Quite a comfortable lounge. Nice range of snacks and drinks available. Would recommend grabbing one of the plush chairs in the lounge area in front of the TVs.
Very impressed with this lounge for the price. Definitely worth stopping by if you're on a long lay over.
Beautiful lounge though no gate/plane view. Only one staff in lounge area off/on. Good food quality, OK selection, though no alcohol. Check in desk took a long time, ~15 min, though friendly.
Simply depressing! Couldn't stay there for longer than five minutes.
Not very big, limited selection of food. As others have pointed out, the basement location gives a certain ambience.
Rather empty due to the late flight (10:30pm). Reasonable food selection. Alc. beverages at bar due to local liquor laws. Not the best but a good LH lounge for the wait. Direct boarding through lounge.
A bit too noisy for my taste. There is ample food. WiFi takes my computer to Germany — looks like that some sort of VPN is in place.
Very sad lounge. Rude staff (if you can find them), disappointing food and not very clean. Yuk.
I want to like this lounge - I really do but it's lacking. Customer service is subpar, the bar is tiny and the food looks like they found leftovers from grandma's fridge.
Limited seating in this small lounge. Food options are decent. An array of self serve cold cuts, salads, pastries, and sweets. Solid WiFi. Would like to see better beer options.
Noisy. Dirty dishes strewn about. Unwiped tables. Servers were absent. Limited access to power. Desk clerk had to manually enter voucher code. OK if you get this for free. Poor value to pay for.
I go here instead of United lounges when I have enough time. Small and crowded but better food and drink options. Staff always friendly.
Near the Lufthansa Departure Gates B49-B51.
