Work, socialise or unwind in comfort at the Virgin Australia lounge. Removed from the hustle and bustle of Australian airports, the Virgin Australia lounge is a secluded pre-flight haven. A great selection of complimentary benefits – such as a Luke Mangan designed buffet menu, premium wines, business services, news and entertainment – make our lounges stylish and practical spaces, designed to cater for our guests’ moods and purposes.
Disappointing. Not a spare seat in sight when I arrived at 4pm on a Thursday. Total chaos. I ended up leaving and finding a quiet seat en route to my gate.
Great lounge with different zones. New premium security exit now open @ peak times. Great staff. USB charge points along window areas behind wine bar (under banquette). Great view of planes too.
Great lounge. The premium exit is especially handy.
Though this lounge is on the small side, I've always been able to get a seat.
This is a great lounge that gets really busy at the end of the day. Be sure to arrive before 3PM to get a seat with a power outlet.
Quiet and comfortable. Power and USB slots available on central desks. Power points also located under bench seats which is a welcome addition. Premium exit not available weekends.
This lounge is better than quite a few international lounges that I've been in. The only annoyance I have with it, is that it's before security.
Lovely big lounge, although amenities seemed scaled back during the holidays, which was disappointing.
My most visited lounge, always clean and friendly staff. Very large.
Reminds me of a very bright overly constructed doctors office... Good views, but catering has taken a hit in recent times
This lounge has a great location, ample facilities, and plenty of room for everyone.
It was really busy but still good service. Good selection of foods, drinks & snacks.
Busy but calm, food's fresh, staff friendly - a good stopover.
Comfortable, well equipped lounge with plenty of space. Food is good but drinks selection is better. Service is always attentive. So white and bright it’s almost clinical.
Food is very basic, in fact the offering is pretty bad. Bar staff are usually pretty rude. No spirits served. Not the greatest lounge.
The Virgin Australia Lounge at MEL is really great. It is large and there is always somewhere to sit. Big selection of food and drinks, as well as Barista made coffee.
Proceed down the check-in escalators, turn left before security.
